Services for Leaner Mae Bowie of Wesson are 11 a.m., Saturday,Feb. 21, at Little Rock Missionary Baptist Church with burial inthe church cemetery.

Visitation is Friday from noon until 8 p.m., with family hourfrom 7-8 p.m., at Williams Mortuary.

Mrs. Bowie, 86, died Feb. 17, 2004, at Southwest MississippiRegional Medical Center. She was born in Lincoln County on Nov. 26,1917, to Levi Stovall and Sally Stovall.

She was a homemaker, and a member of Little Rock MissionaryBaptist Church.

Preceding her in death were her parents, a sister, five brothersand one stepson.

Survivors are her husband, Clarence Bowie of Wesson; her sonsand daughters-in-law, Jerome and Sonya Bowie of Wesson, and M.C.and Verda Barnes of Hattiesburg; her stepdaughters, L.V. Henley andBetsy Norman, both of Sunflower; her brother, Willie Stovall ofWinterhaven, Fla.; her sister-in-law, Mary Amos of Hazlehurst; andnine grandchildren.
