Services for Ruby Boyd Ballard of Monticello are 2 p.m.,Wednesday, Jan. 7, at Forrest Grove Methodist Protestant Churchwith burial in the church cemetery.

Visitation is Tuesday, Jan. 6, from 5:30-9 p.m. at WilsonFuneral Home, and from 1-2 p.m. at the church on the day of theservice.

Mrs. Ballard, 91, died Jan. 5, 2004, at Lawrence County NursingCenter. She was born in Jayess on Dec. 22, 1912, to William Boydand Dora O’Quinn Boyd.

She was a homemaker. She was a member of Forrest Grove MethodistProtestant Church.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husbands, HaleyEdgar Morris, Ado Renfroe and Perry Ballard; a son; and 20 brothersand sisters.

Survivors are her sons, Bro. Fred Morris and Harvey Morris; sixgrandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Jimmye Kelly Batchelor

Services for Jimmye Kelly Batchelor of Brookhaven are 11 a.m.,Wednesday, Jan. 7, at Wesson Baptist Church with burial inBeauregard Cemetery.

Visitation is Tuesday, Jan. 6, from 5-8 p.m. at BrookhavenFuneral Home.

Mrs. Batchelor, 78, died Jan. 5, 2004, at King’s DaughtersMedical Center. She was born in Beauregard on Aug. 3, 1925, to JakeKelly and Cornelia Carpenter Kelly.

She was Senior Aide director at Copiah-Lincoln Community Collegeand member of the LLL Club, 50 Plus Club and ILR Club. She was amember of Beauregard Methodist Church.

Preceding her in death were her parents and her husband, CodyBatchelor.

Survivors are her sister, Jacqueline Thurman of Wesson; herniece and nephew, Ginger and Dale Heard of Wesson; and hergreat-nephews, Jaymie and Kelly Heard, both of Wesson.
