Services for Jessie Mae Brown of Bogue Chitto are 11 a.m.,Wednesday, Dec. 3, at Hartman Funeral Home of McComb Chapel withburial in Montgomery Baptist Church Cemetery. Services will beconducted by the Revs. Tim Parker and Glynn Erwin.
Visitation is Tuesday from 5-9 p.m., and Wednesday from 9-11a.m., at the funeral home.
Mrs. Brown, 92, died Dec. 1, 2003, at Southwest MississippiRegional Medical Center in McComb. She was born in Lincoln Countyon Sept. 13, 1911, to Jefferson Wiley Moak and Rosie Belle McFaddenMoak.
She was a homemaker and a member of Montgomery Baptist Churchfor over 50 years. She loved flowers and working in her yard.
Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, FredBrown; a daughter, Mae Opal Wallace; a son-in-law, Jack Wallace; agrandson, James Steven Moak; a granddaughter, Wanda Sue Wallace;and a great-granddaughter, Felicia Dawn Wallace.
Survivors are her daughters and son-in-law, Peggy Joyce Brown ofBogue Chitto, and Betty Sue Brown Worthy and Bill of Summit; hersons, Hansel Parnell Brown of McComb, and Landell Perry Brown ofEllisville; her sister, Donis Louise Ratcliff of Brookhaven; ninegrandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and sixgreat-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Michael Moak, Mark Brown,Gary Wallace, Aubrey Wallace, Kirk Wallace and Jimmy Moak.
