Services for Alice Elizabeth Curtis Reeves of Denham Springs,La. were 2 p.m., Oct. 12, at Seale Funeral Home with burial inAmite Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mrs. Reeves died Oct. 10, 2003, at Golden Age Nursing Home.

She was a retired school teacher with 37 years experience. Shewas a member of Riverside Baptist Church, where she worked with theCouncil On Aging. She was a life member of Veterans of Foreign Wars(VFW), and a member of the Retired Teachers Association. She was anative of Brookhaven.

Preceding her in death were her parents, William Maurice andMary Eulice Howard Reeves; her husband, James Russel Curtis; andfour brothers, Robert Howard Reeves, Baby Maurice Reeves, RalphWarren Reeves and Leslie Reeves.

Survivors are her daughter and son-in-law, Eulice and George C.Johnson; her sons and daughters-in-law, Rusty and Dina Curtis, andMilton and Yvonne Curtis; her brothers and sisters-in-law, Cullenand Helen Reeves, and Butler and Alma Reeves; her sister-in-law,Geneva Reeves; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; anda host of other relatives and friends.
