Cornelia Lambert Ballard
Services for Cornelia Lambert Ballard of Monticello are 2 p.m.,Wednesday, July 2, at Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with burial inLambert Cemetery in Jayess.
Visitation is Tuesday from 5-9 p.m., at the funeral home.
Mrs. Ballard, 89, died June 30, 2003, at her residence. She wasborn in Monticello on Sept. 25, 1913, to Vince Lambert and PollieLambert.
She was a retired final inspector at Kellwood Manufacturing Co.,where she worked for 29 years. She was a member of New Hope BaptistChurch.
Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, ToxieBallard; one daughter, Donna Dean Ballard; her brothers, SylvesterBallard, Sherman Ballard, Simpson Ballard, Edward Ballard and RayBallard; and her sister, Julia Nelson.
Survivors are her sons, V.W. Ballard, Carey Ballard and ToxieHigdon Ballard, all of Monticello; her daughter, Modena B. Wilsonof Monticello; 11 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and 11great-great-grandchildren.
Francis Eugene “Gene” Brumfield
Services for Francis Eugene “Gene” Brumfield of Bogue Chitto are11 a.m., Wednesday, July 2, at Catchings Funeral Home in McCombwith burial in Montgomery Cemetery.
Visitation is Tuesday from 5-9 p.m., and Wednesday from 9-11a.m., at the funeral home.
Mr. Brumfield, 80, died June 30, 2003, at Beverly Health CareSouthwest in McComb. He was born in Lincoln County on March 12,1923, to Henry Harrison Brumfield Sr., and Myrtis AlbrittonBrumfield.
He was retired as a bending foreman and a farmer. He was alongtime member of Adams United Methodist Church. He was a pastmaster of Auburn Lodge #244 F&AM, and was a WWII Armyveteran.
Preceding him in death were his parents; three brothers, CareyBrumfield, Woodrow Brumfield and Randall Brumfield; and twosisters, Edith Gilmer and Deliah Smith.
Survivors are his wife of 56 years, Louise Johnston Brumfield ofBogue Chitto; his sons, Roger Brumfield and Harry Brumfield, bothof Bogue Chitto; his daughter, Beverly Moak of Bogue Chitto; hisbrother, Henry Harrison Brumfield of Natchez; six grandchildren;two great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Ida Ree Terrell Hutcherson
Services for Ida Ree Terrell Hutcherson of Brookhaven are 10a.m., Wednesday, July 2, at Fair River Baptist Church withgraveside services at 3 p.m., Wednesday in Old Pine Hill Cemeteryin Sicily Island, La.
Visitation is Tuesday from 5-10 p.m., at Harrigill Funeral Home,and Wednesday from 9:30-10 a.m., at the church.
Mrs. Hutcherson, 84, died June 29, 2003, at her residence. Shewas born in Phoenix on March 7, 1919, to Lewis J. Terrell andHenrietta Fletcher Terrell.
She was a homemaker. She was a member of Fair River BaptistChurch.
Preceding her in death were her parents; one son; one daughter;and seven brothers and sisters.
Survivors are her husband, R. B. Hutcherson Jr. of Brookhaven;her sons, Eugene Hutcherson of Rock Springs, Ga., Bruce Hutchersonof Sontag, and Jack Hutcherson of Monticello; her daughters, InaNeill of Texarkana, Texas, and Winnie Boyles and Patsy Carr, bothof Monticello; 11 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
