Services for W. Van Minton of Oxford are 2 p.m., Monday, June23, at North Oxford Baptist Church with burial in North OxfordCemetery. Waller Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Minton, 67, died June 20, 2003, at his residence.

He was a retired engineering draftsman with the U.S. Departmentof Agriculture Soil Conservation Service. He was a member of NorthOxford Baptist Church.

Survivors are his wife, Faye Thompson Minton; his son, W.Randall Minton of Oxford; his daughters, Vickey M. Allen ofTomball, Texas, and Jennifer M. Tidwell of Jackson; his sister,Carolyn M. Quinn of Summit; seven grandchildren and onegreat-great-grandchild.
