Services for Leon Buitt of Bogue Chitto are 2 p.m., Saturday,March 22, at Brookhaven Funeral Home Chapel with burial in StewartCemetery in Bogue Chitto.

Visitation is Saturday from 5-10 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Buitt, 66, died March 20, 2003, at King’s Daughters MedicalCenter. He was born in Lincoln County on Jan. 31, 1937, to JimBuitt and Ruth Richardson Buitt Jackson.

He was retired from construction work. He was a member of theChurch of Christ.

Preceding him in death were his parents; and his brother, DavidBuitt.

Survivors are his brothers, Pearlie Buitt, Sylvester Buitt,Marvin Buitt, and Robert Buitt, all of Bogue Chitto, and CharlesBuitt of Crystal Springs; his sisters, Geraldine McFall ofRidgecrest, La., Mary Ann Case of Monticello, Nita Lusk of Wesson,Emma Jean Smith of Hazlehurst, and Martha Sharpe of Bogue Chitto;and a host of nieces and nephews.
