Services for Ora Nell Porter of Sontag are 11:30 a.m. Tuesday,Feb. 18, at Friendship Missionary Baptist Church in Monticello withburial in Pine Grove Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery.

Visitation is today from noon to 7 p.m., with family hour from7-8 p.m., at Williams Mortuary.

Mrs. Porter, 75, died Feb. 10, 2003, at her residence. She wasborn in Sontag on May 29, 1927, to the late Birks and Letha MartinMcGee.

She was a homemaker. She was a member of Pine Grove MissionaryBaptist Church.

Preceding her in death were her parents; daughter, ElnoraPorter; a brother, Harvey McGee; and three sisters, Pearl Martin,Letha Mae Brown and Ethel Brown.

Survivors are her husband, the Rev. Eddie Porter of Sontag; hersons, Charles Porter of Detroit, Tyrone Porter of Sontag, KennethPorter of Raleigh, N.C., and Paul Porter of Olive Branch; herdaughters, Thelma Richardson of Sontag and Vanessa Bowens ofCharlotte, N.C.; her brothers, Birks McGee of Hammond, La., ArchieLee McGee and Calvin McGee, both of Albany, La., Johnnie McGee ofOakland, Calif., and Fred McGee of Sontag; her sisters, BerniceRaymond of Hercules, Calif., Winnie McElroy of Oakland, and EvelynPerry of Sontag; and 16 grandchildren; and threegreat-grandchildren.
