Services for Wayne D. Russell of Meadville are 2 p.m., Saturday,Feb. 8, at Franklin Funeral Home Chapel with burial in MidwayCemetery.

Visitation is Friday from 4-10 p.m., and Saturday from 8 a.m.until 2 p.m., at the funeral home.

Mr. Russell, 54, died Feb. 5, 2003, at Veterans Hospital inJackson. He was born in Brookhaven on March 30, 1948, to HenryRussell and Unice Beason Russell.

He was an oil field operator. He was an army veteran.

Preceding him in death were his parents.

Survivors are his son, Brad Russell of Denham Springs, La.; hisdaughters, Stacy Smith and Sara Russell, both of Brookhaven, andSandra Alford of Lindale, Texas; a very special friend, Lorraine”Cooter” Smith of Meadville; and four grandchildren.
