Graveside services for Sara S. Valadie of McComb are 10 a.m.,Saturday, Nov. 23, at Lakewood Memorial Park Cemetery.

Visitation is today from 6-8 p.m. at Wright & FergusonFuneral Home in Clinton.

Mrs. Valadie, 96, died Nov. 21, 2002, at Extended Care NursingHome in McComb. She was a native of McComb.

She worked as a secretary in the Pentagon in Washington, D.C.,during World War II and retired from the Veterans AdministrationMedical Center in Jackson in the early 1970’s. After retiring shereturned to McComb.

Survivors are her son, Stewart G. Valadie of Clinton; herbrother, John Stewart of Brookhaven; and two grandchildren, twogreat-grandchildren, one niece, and one nephew.
