Services for Evelyn E. Howington of Brookhaven are 11 a.m.Monday, Sept. 16, at Sylvarena Baptist Church with burial in thechurch cemetery.

Visitation is Sunday, Sept. 15, from 5-9 p.m. and Monday, Sept.16, from 8-10 a.m. at Brookhaven Funeral Home.

Miss Howington, 74, died Sept. 14, 2002, at King’s DaughtersMedical Center. She was born in Wesson on Sept. 11, 1927, to thelate William Thomas and Virgie Case Howington.

She was a member of Sylvarena Baptist Church.

Preceding her in death were her parents; brother, William ThomasHowington Jr.; and sister, Dorothy Perry.

Survivors are her brother, Donald Howington of New Hebron andsisters, Marjorie Fore of Whiting, N.J., and Carolyn Howington ofBrookhaven.
