Services for David Thetford of Prentiss were 11 a.m., Tuesday,Aug. 20, at Saulters-Moore Funeral Home Chapel with burial in LoneStar Cemetery.

Mr. Thetford, 85, died Aug. 18, 2002, at Prentiss RegionalHospital. He was a native of Claiborne County.

He was retired from Southern Natural Gas Company as a shiftengineer. He was a member of Prentiss Presbyterian Church. He wasan Army veteran of WWII.

Preceding him in death were his parents; and his sister,Beatrice Allred.

Survivors are his wife, Nannie Lou Thetford of Prentiss; hisdaughters, Maria Broome of Carson and Martha Jones of New Hebron;his sister, Zulieme Pierce of Brandon; and two grandchildren.
