Services for Emma “Neely” Daniels of the East Fork community are11 a.m., Friday, Aug. 16, at East Fork Baptist Church with burialin East Fork Cemetery.

Visitation is today from 5-8 p.m. at Hartman Funeral Home inMcComb and Friday from 10-11 a.m. at the church.

Mrs. Daniels, 90, died Aug. 14, 2002, at King’s DaughtersMedical Center. She was born in Oktibbeha County on Oct. 10, 1911,to Jim H. Heflin and Addie Kendrick Heflin.

She was a member of East Fork Baptist Church for over 50years.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her sister, Mae Heflin;her brothers, Emmett and Ike Heflin; and her husband, Rufus M.Daniels.

Survivors are her son, James Daniels of East Fork; her daughtersand son-in-law, Gale Daniels Newman and Lloyd Newman Jr. of EastFork, and Barbara Anders of Roxie; her sister, Maggie King of WestPoint; her grandchildren, Sheila Newman of Suches, Ga., Bub Newmanand Cindy of East Fork, and Vonda Wroten and Jimmy of Meadville;and her great-grandchildren, Jenny Newman, Daniel Hunter Newman,Billy Newman, Amanda Wroten, Jamie Wroten, and Abigail Wroten.
