Services for Allen Lee Langford of Meadville are 2 p.m., Monday,July 8, at Franklin Funeral Home Chapel with burial in MidwayCemetery.

Visitation is today from noon until 2 p.m. at the funeralhome.

Mr. Langford, 53, died July 6, 2002, at Natchez RegionalHospital. He was born in Franklin County on July 23, 1948, toEdward “Tiny” Langford and Donnabel Higginbotham Langford.

He was a construction worker. He was a member of MeadvillePresbyterian Church, where he was a deacon. He served in theNational Guard.

Preceding him in death was his father.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, HarrietDee Langford of Meadville; his daughters and sons-in-law, Cindy andMichael Ashmore and Donna and Lonny Geoghegan, all of Meadville;his sisters and brothers-in-law, Eva and Michael Guice, Daisy andScotty Arnold, and Jo Nell and Larry Griffith, all of Meadville;and two grandchildren, one nephew, five nieces and a host of familyand friends.
