Mr. Boyles, 80, died Friday, June 7, 2002 at Veteran’sAdministration Hospital in Jackson. He was born in Lawrence Countyon Nov. 30, 1921, to William C. and Maude Glover Boyles.
He was a retired convenience store owner. He was a lifelongresident of Lawrence County. He was a member of Carmel BaptistChurch. He was a lifetime member of the Veterans of Foreign Warsand a member of the 25th Division Infantry Association. He servedin the United States Army during World War II.
Preceding him in death were his parents and two brothers.
Survivors are his wife, Mildred Lambert Boyles; his sons, DaleBoyles of Brookhaven and William F. Boyles of Houston, Texas; hisdaughters, Pamela Boyles Stanley of Monticello and Phyllis BoylesKelly of Prentiss; his brothers, LaRue Boyles of Jackson and OdellBoyles of Monticello; his sisters, Irene Duvall of Baton Rouge,La., and Marie Templet of New Hebron; and 10 grandchildren and ninegreat-grandchildren.
