Services for Linda Gail Fairchild of Brookhaven are 2 p.m.Friday, June 7, at Brookhaven Funeral Home Chapel with burial inMacedonia Baptist Church Cemetery.

Visitation is Thursday, June 6, from 4-10 p.m. at the funeralhome.

Mrs. Fairchild, 55, died Wednesday, June 5, 2002, at herresidence. She was born in Brookhaven on Nov. 27, 1946, to SelmaBritt Smith of Brookhaven and the late Whittney Smith.

She worked at Stahl Urban for 21 years and at Auburn Sportswear.She was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church.

Preceding her in death were her father and a sister, JanetRebbecka Smith.

Survivors are her mother; husband, Henry Fairchild; son, JewellFairchild; half-brother, Doyle Kelly Britt, all of Brookhaven; andhalf-sisters, Rita Beaty, Tammy Williams and Abby Binyan, all ofChickasha, Okla.
