Services for Allie Mae Minton of Wesson are 10 a.m., Saturday,Feb. 9, at Brookhaven Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Mt. ZionBaptist Church Cemetery.

Visitation is Friday from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Minton, 92, died Feb. 6, 2002, at Haven Hall Nursing Home.She was born in Copiah County on Feb. 17, 1909, to Johnny W.Leggett and Colular Barksdale Leggett.

She was a homemaker. She was a member of Mt. Zion BaptistChurch.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, Jesse J.Minton; and four brothers and two sisters.

Survivors are her son, Jesse Charles Minton of Metairie, La.;her daughters, Dorothy Britt of Wesson and Gloria Ferlita of Tampa,Fla.; her brothers, Nelson Leggett of Vicksburg, Charles HillryLeggett of Hattiesburg, and Dr. J. D. Leggett of Parker, Ariz.; hersister, Robbie Lee Curry of Jackson; and six grandchildren, sixgreat-grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.
