Services for Margaret Inez Tompkins of Gardendale, Ala., are 11a.m. Monday, Jan. 14, at Gardendale Chapel in that city with burialin Oakwood Cemetery there.

Visitation is Sunday, Jan. 13, from 6-8 p.m. at the funeralhome.

Mrs. Tompkins, 76, died Friday, Jan. 11, 2002, in Gardendale.She was born and lived most of her life in Lincoln County.

She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star for 50 yearsand attended Morris Senior Citizen Center.

Preceding her in death were her parents and a sister, Lottie MaeMoak.

Survivors are her husband, Richard Tompkins; daughter andson-in-law, Cheryl and Marty Viger of Pinson, Ala.; brothers, DeanMoak of Missouri and Hulon Moak of California; sister, MarieWilliams of Mississippi; two grandchildren; and threegreat-grandchildren.
