Services for Sammie Lee King of St. Louis, Mo., and formerly ofWesson, are 1 p.m., Friday, Jan. 11, at St. Peter Rock BaptistChurch with burial in the church cemetery.
Visitation is Thursday from noon until 5 p.m. at WilliamsMortuary.
Mr. King, 58, died Jan. 3, 2002, at St. Mary’s Hospital in St.Louis. He was born in New Orleans on Aug. 15, 1943, to Leonard Kingand Margie Jointer King. He was a 1962 graduate of Parrish HighSchool and attended Utica Junior College.
He operated a restaurant until his disability. He was a veteranof the Army.
Preceding him in death were his parents and his brother, EdwardKing.
Survivors are his sons, Christopher King of Wesson, Stefen Kingof Waveland, Patrick King of Hazlehurst, and Ryan Baynham, RanellBaynham and Ramell Baynham, all of St. Louis, Mo.; his daughter,Tonya Stewart of Brookhaven; his brother, Robert Wilkerson ofDetroit, Mich.; and six grandchildren.
