Memorial services for Susan Elizabeth Segers of Houston, Texas,are 1 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 12, at Harrigill Funeral Home Chapel. Aprivate graveside service for immediate family will follow atEasthaven Cemetery.

Miss Segers, 49, died of natural causes at her residence. Shewas born in Newellton, La., on Sept. 5, 1952.

She was an interior designer, floral arranger, and fashiondesign coordinator. She enjoyed gardening and the outdoors. Hervivacious spirit and contagious laughter will always be a part ofher loved ones. She was a beloved daughter, granddaughter, sister,aunt, and friend.

Preceding her in death was her father, Versie Segers Jr.

Survivors are her mother, Helen Richardson Segers of Big Sandy,Texas; her brothers, Roy E. Segers and wife Elena of South Africa,William D. Segers and wife Dona of Daingerfield, Texas; hersisters, Jane S. Catalano and husband Michael of Los Gatos, Calif.,and Sarah S. Bilowus and husband David of Leesburg, Va.; herstepmother, Mona Segers of Brookhaven; her grandmother, RubyRichardson of Brookhaven; her aunts, Eva Dee Rodriguez and husbandRaymond, and Ayleen Boyett and husband Roscoe, all of Brookhaven;her uncles, David Richardson and Roy Richardson and wife JoAnn, allof Brookhaven, and Ralph Richardson of Waynesboro; and fournephews, three great-nieces, four great-nephews, and many relativesand friends.
