Services for Audrey Vaughn Cupit of Brookhaven are 2 p.m.,Friday, Nov. 30, at Friendship Baptist Church with burial in thechurch cemetery.

Visitation is today from 5-10 p.m. at Brookhaven FuneralHome.

Mrs. Cupit, 95, died Nov. 29, 2001, at Beverly Health CareCenter. She was born in Lincoln County on Aug. 31, 1906, to ArchieM. Vaughn and Rebecca Smith Vaughn.

She was a homemaker. She was a member of Friendship BaptistChurch.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, VolneyCupit; her daughters, Joyce Cupit and Janice Thompson; hergreat-granddaughter, Alecia Lofton; and four sisters and threebrothers.

Survivors are her son and daughter-in-law, Roland and MauriceCupit of Brookhaven; her daughters and sons-in-law, Kathryn andCordelle Jackson of Haughton, La., and Jo Ann and Frank Smith ofBrookhaven; her brother, Stanley Vaughn of Chesapeake, Va.; and 13grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and 13great-great-grandchildren.
