Services for Shelton Frank “Slim” Posey of Brookhaven are 2p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 20, at Harrigill Funeral Home with burial inNations Memorial Cemetery.

Mr. Posey, 25, died Nov. 17, 2001, in an automobile accident. Hewas born in Magnolia on July 29, 1976, to Frank Posey and Linda SueThompson Posey. He was a 1994 graduate of Loyd Star.

He was a logger for Josh Spring. He was a member of First Churchof God. He was a Marine Corps veteran.

Preceding him in death were his mother, and his grandparents,Frank and Lela Posey.

Survivors are his father, Frank Posey of Brookhaven; hisstepmother, Mary Herring Posey of Brookhaven; his grandparents,Eddie and Beulah Mae Thompson of Brookhaven; his fostergrandparents, Leo and Laverne Wallace of Natchez; his brother,Justin Wayne Posey of Brookhaven; his stepbrother, Michael Thorntonof Brookhaven; his sister, Brandy Elizabeth Posey of Brookhaven;his stepsister, Andrea Grammer of Brookhaven; his half-sister, DeeChurchill of New Albany; and a host of nieces and nephews.
