Services for Addie Corene Smith of Brookhaven were 11 a.m.,Monday, Oct. 29, at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church with burial inthe church cemetery.

Brookhaven Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Smith, 82, died Oct. 28, 2001, at her residence. She wasborn in Lincoln County on May 5, 1919, to Walter W. Smith and IdaWatts Smith.

She was a homemaker. She was a member of Pleasant Grove BaptistChurch.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, WillieWebb Smith; her brothers, Frank and Vernon Smith; and her sisters,Lessie Dickey and Vera Smith.

Survivors are her son, Ted Lane Smith of Brookhaven; herdaughter, Myra Lynn Rushing of Brookhaven; and four grandchildrenand four great-grandchildren.
