Graveside services for Lois Courtney Watson Gardner of Natchez,formerly of Brookhaven, were noon Saturday, Oct. 13, at WoodlawnCemetery.

Mrs. Gardner, 96, died Thursday, Oct. 11, 2001, in Natchez. Shewas born on Sept. 12, 1905, to the late Jasper Robert “Bob” andDora Eugenia Price Watson.

She was a member of Parkway Baptist Church in Natchez and priorto her retirement she was active in the First Baptist Church ofBrookhaven and the Eastern Star. She was a member of several tourgroups and the Town and Country Garden Club.

Survivors are her sons and daughters-in-law, George and PeggyGardner of Oklahoma City, Okla., and Robert and Jane Gardner ofNatchez; daughter, Laverene Cindy Stringer of Natchez; eightgrandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
