Services for Harold Douglas Summers of Brookhaven are 3 p.m.,Tuesday, Oct. 9, at Topisaw Baptist Church with burial in thechurch cemetery.

Visitation is today from 5-9 p.m. at Harrigill Funeral Home andat the church Tuesday from 2 p.m. until service time.

Mr. Summers, 87, died Oct. 6, 2001, at Silver Cross NursingHome. He was born in Lincoln County on Oct. 13, 1913, to Jeff andTreesie Summers.

He was a farmer. He was a member of Topisaw Baptist Church,where he served as a deacon. He was a Mason. He was a Navy veteranof WWII.

Preceding him in death were his parents.

Survivors are his niece, Mary Ann Thompson of Mendenhall; hisnephew, Odell Summers of Port Arthur, Texas; and the membership ofTopisaw Baptist Church.
