Services for Florene L Williamson of Jackson are 10:30 a.m.,Friday, Aug. 24, at Old Silver Creek Baptist Church with burial inthe church cemetery.

Visitation is today from 5-8 p.m. at Wright & FergusonFuneral Home and Saturday from 10 a.m. until service time at thechurch.

Mrs. Williamson, 79, died Aug. 22, 2001, at Briar Hill NursingHome. She was a native of Silver Creek.

She was a homemaker. She was a member of Old Silver CreekBaptist Church. She was a charter member of the JacksonFirefighters Auxiliary.

Preceding her in death were her parents, Kirby and FloraLangston; and her sister, Juanice Stringer.

Survivors are her husband, Dorman C. Williamson of Mendenhall;her sons, Kirby and Gary Williamson, both of Mendenhall; herdaughter, Jane Rushing of Jackson; her brothers, Alton Langston ofBrandon and Hiram Langston of Silver Creek; her sisters, AlleneScarborough and Ramelle McWilliams, both of Richland, and TroyGriffith of Silver Creek; and four grandchildren.
