Services for Angela Shanette Turner of Brookhaven are 1 p.m.Monday, July 9, at St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church with burialin Friendship M.B. Church Cemetery.

Visitation is Sunday, July 8, from 6-7 p.m. at St. PaulMissionary Baptist Church.

Miss Turner, 22, died Thursday, July 5, 2001, at King’sDaughters Medical Center after a lengthy illness. She was born atUniversity Medical Center in Jackson on July 7, 1978, to Charlesand Alice Byrd.

She was a member of St. Paul M.B. Church. She was a graduate ofBrookhaven High School and had special training in sewing andsales.

Preceding her in death was her grandfather, Willie Byrd.

Survivors are her parents and sisters, Charlene Turner, KimberlyByrd and Margrett Byrd, all of Brookhaven.
