Services for Clarence Dennis of Buffalo, N.Y., and formerly ofBrookhaven, are 1 p.m., Monday, June 25, at Mt. Wade M. B. Churchwith burial in Carver Heights Cemetery.

Visitation is Monday from 11 a.m. until service time at thechurch. Williams Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Dennis, 74, died June 16, 2001, at Mississippi StateHospital in Jackson. He was born in Lincoln County on Aug. 26,1926, to Ed Dennis Sr. and Mary Sims Dennis.

He was retired from Social Services in Buffalo. He was a memberof Friendship M. B. Church in Buffalo. He was a member of theParamount Masonic Lodge #73 in Buffalo. He was an Army veteran.

Preceding him in death were his parents, five brothers, andthree sisters.

Survivors are his brothers, Ed Dennis Jr. of Oakland, Calif.,and Dudley Dennis of Antioch, Calif.; his sister, Annie Ruth Bryantof Chicago, Ill.; and many nieces, nephews, and otherrelatives.
