Memorial services for Rose Mary Billodeau Lambert of Monticellowill be held at a later date. Wilson Funeral Home is in charge ofarrangements.

Mrs. Lambert, 68, died June 3, 2001, at Baptist Medical Centerin Jackson. She was born in Jeanerette, La., on March 7, 1933, toBenny and Flavia Memdoza Billodeau. She moved to Monticello fromGloster in 1988.

She retired in 1998 from Prentiss Christian Academy, where shetaught math. She was a teacher for 31 years, having also taught inFlorida, Virginia, and at Centreville Academy. She was a member ofthe United Methodist Church.

Preceding her in death were her parents.

Survivors are her husband, Dinnie Lambert of Monticello; hersons, Dinnie F. Lambert III of Bois, France, and Nevin Lambert ofBridgewater, Va.; her daughter-in-law, Karen Lambert ofBridgewater, Va.; her brother, Dewey Billodeau of Jeanerette, La.;her sisters, Vivan Movozko and Hazle Verret, both of Opelousas,La.; and her granddaughters, Elizabeth and Rachael of Bridgewater,Va.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
