Services for Carrie P. Cox of Monticello are 11 a.m., Saturday,Aug. 5, at Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Bethel BaptistChurch Cemetery.

Visitation is Friday, Aug. 4, from 4:30-9:30 p.m. at WilsonFuneral Home.

Mrs. Cox, 81, died Aug. 2, 2000, of cancer at King’s Daughter’sMedical Center. She was born in Milan, Tenn., on June 12, 1919, toThomas and Ethel Ledsinger Pinkley.

She was a homemaker. She was a member of Monticello Church ofChrist.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, CooperCox; and her daughter, June Alden Cox.

Survivors are her sons, Byron C. Cox of Mocksville, N.C., LowellT. Cox of Livingston, Texas, and Ronald L. Cox of Pearl; and threegrandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
