Two-way tie in Wolf Hollow scramble
WESSON – Two teams shot a dazzling, 14-under par 58 to finished tied for first place in Tuesday’s Senior Scramble at the Wolf Hollow Golf Club.
The team of Harold Boteler, Bob Brown, Dick Arnold, Randy Brown and Johnny Stewart and the team of Benny Nixon, Billy Baker, Mike Sumrall, Bill Johnson and Don Stachon finished tied for first place with a score of a 14-under par 58.
The team of John Darrington, Walter Chalk, Gene Wilson, Gene Nesmith and Doyle Rayborn placed third with a score of 13-under par 59.
The scramble is open to the public and starts each Tuesday at 9 a.m. Entry deadline is 8:30.
