Brianna Fauver is taking her softball talents to the next level. West Lincoln’s outfielder has signed a softball scholarship with the Meridian Community College Lady Eagles.

Fauver signed her official scholarship papers last week in the West Lincoln Library. She is the daughter of Brain and Joanne Fauver.

“I’m excited to have the opportunity to play softball at Meridian,” said Fauver.

Brianna mentioned that she wants to pursue a career in biochemical engineer.

As a junior, Fauver batted .417 for the Lady Bears. She accounted for 21 RBI and three doubles. At the plate, she posted a .571 on base percentage and had a .500 slugging percentage.

“I am very proud for Brianna and her accomplishment,” said West Lincoln softball coach Andrew Redd. “She is very deserving of this opportunity to play softball at the next level.”
