Julie Kramer is taking her tennis talents to the next level. Loyd Star’s girls’ doubles tennis senior has signed a tennis scholarship with the Co-Lin Community College Lady Wolves.

Kramer signed her official scholarship papers Thursday afternoon in the Loyd Star Attendance Center library. She is the daughter of Christy and Chris Kramer.

“I’m thrilled to have the opportunity to play tennis in the colligate level,” said Kramer.

In Kramer’s senior year, she was partnered up with Ruby McCullough in girls’ doubles competition.

Kramer mentioned that she wants to pursue a career in being a register nurse, before advancing to the University of Southern Mississippi. She will graduate Loyd Star as an honor graduate.

“Julie has played for the Loyd Star tennis team since the seventh grade,” said Loyd Star tennis coach Rhonda Hart. “She has worked very hard this year, I am very proud of her and wish her all the luck in the world.”
