Funeral services for George Hardy Holcomb of Bogue Chitto are 1 p.m. on Monday, May 12, 2014, at Riverwood Family Funeral Services with burial in Rocky Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. Riverwood Family Funeral Services is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation is Sunday, May 11, 2014, from 5 until 7 p.m. at Riverwood Family Funeral Services.

Mr. Holcomb, 47, died May 9, 2014, at Hardy Wilson Memorial Hospital in Hazlehurst. He was born on Oct. 26, 1966, to Randolph Holcomb and Mamie Mae Upton Holcomb.

He worked in the maintenance department at Copiah-Lincoln Community College and he was a firefighter and a first responder. He was a member of Rocky Hill Baptist Church.

Preceding him in death were his parents; wife, Elizabeth Holcomb; foster parent, Donald Ard; and stepdaughter Debby Upton and husband, Billy.

Survivors are his wife, Rosia Darlene Holcomb; stepsons, Charles Upton Jr., Daniel Upton; daughter, Gloria Michelle Bulkoski and husband, Tyler; stepdaughters, Mary Cope and husband, John Mark, Robin Pratt and husband, Mike, Donna Therrell and husband, Davis, Lora Wallace and husband, Chris; brothers, Ricky Collins, Robert Holcomb; sisters, Vicky Walker, Debra Mohon, Brenda Mahaffey and husband, Tony, Rosie Miller and husband, Curtis, Ashley Wilson, Jessica Holcomb; stepmother, Debra Holcomb; foster parent Pat Ard; 14 grandchildren, Bailey Elizabeth Bulkoski, Heather Dowell, Kimberly Huguenard, John Cope Jr., Kayla Pratt, Jacob Pratt, Paige Pratt, Brittany Hall, Lindsey Hall, Preston hall, Devin Wallace, Ian Pratt, Joanna Upton, Jessica Upton; three great-grandchildren, Brayden Brister, Jaxsyn Treadway and Harvey Beeson.
