The Enterprise Lady Yellow Jackets were victorious the Natchez Cathedral Lady Green Wave 8-5 in softball action Friday night

“I am extremely proud of my girls,” said Enterprise coach Ashley Jones. “The played hard and never gave up both offensively and defensively. Overall, this was a very good win for us.”

The Lady Jackets (6-11, 3-2) will be in action today as they visit West Lincoln for a huge district test. Junior varsity action starts at 5 p.m., followed by the varsity game at 6 p.m.

Enterprise 8, Cathedral 5 

Carley Nations was the winning pitcher for the Lady Jackets with six strikeouts and two walks.

Emily Rosco suffered the loss for the Lady Green Wave with two strikeouts and six walks.

Kinsey Dahlin was the top hitter for Enterprise at the plate with three singles. Karlee Burgess contributed two singles. Hitting safely were Jana Nations and Kalyn Chemin.
