BOGUE CHITTO – The Bogue Chitto Lady Cats flexed their muscles and destroyed the Mount Olive Lady Pirates to gain two Region 7-1A wins in a varsity doubleheader Thursday.
The Lady Cats overpowered the young Lady Pirates to secure a 20-0 win in Game One and 15-0 victory in Game Two.
“The girls played hard,” said BC coach Scott Leggett. “Mount Olive has a very young team, but they are working hard to get better.”
The Lady Cats (12-4, 4-0) will resume action Monday as they prepare to host their Lincoln County rivals, the Loyd Star Lady Hornets. Junior varsity action starts at 5 p.m., followed by the varsity game at 6 p.m.

The experienced Lady Cats were too much for the young Lady Pirates to handle as BC scored all their runs in the first inning in both games and showed humbleness to the young and inexperienced Lady Pirates and allowed them to continue batting until the third inning.

Mahongany Kye took the Loss for Mt. Olive with no strikeouts and seven walks.
