Funeral services for Stephen Joseph Weekley of Summit are 11 a.m. on Monday, April 7, 2014, at Hartman-Sharkey Funeral Home with burial in Woodlawn Cemetery in Summit. Elder Richie Culotta, Merrill Blalock, Leroy Nevels and Bennie Pittman will officiate. Hartman-Sharkey Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation is Sunday from 5 until 8 p.m. at Hartman-Sharkey Funeral Home and again on Monday from 9 a.m. until time of service.

Mr. Weekley, 60, died April 3, 2014, at Southwest Regional Medical Center in McComb surrounded by his loving family. He was born on Jan. 19, 1954, in Norfolk, Va., to Warren Lamar Weekley and Donnis Ziegler.

He was a self-employed owner of Weekley and Son’s LLC. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

His family said he was a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother. He had a passion for music, animals and loved to camp and fish. He was an avid football and NASCAR fan. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Preceding him in death were his parents.

Survivors are his wife of 41 happy years, Marilyn Lambert Weekley of Summit; two sons, Christopher Lamar and Janell Weekley of Summit and Jeremy Wayne and Melanie Weekley of Summit; two brothers, Gerald Weekley and wife, Dorothy, of Summit and Gene Weekley of Texas; two grandchildren, Kherington Rose and Gracelyn Rae Weekley of Summit; and many special friends and beloved pets.

Pallbearers will be Kevin Van Norman, Mark Van Norman, Anthony Greer, Ricky Brown, Bobby Wallace and Jarrett Hall. Honorary Pallbearers will be Mark Brown, Pat Nettles, Mike Reeves, Andy Harrington, David Williams, P.L. Matthews, Mickey Garon and Gill Prestridge.
