Funeral services for James Larry Britt of Raymond are 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, April 5, 2014, at First Pentecostal Church of Jackson with graveside services at 3 p.m. Saturday, April 5, 2014, at Easthaven Cemetery in Brookhaven. Chancellor Funeral Home of Byram is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation is Friday, April 4, 2014, from 5 until 8 p.m. at First Pentecostal Church of Jackson.

Mr. Britt, 60, died April 2, 2014, at his residence. He was born on Oct. 17, 1953, to James Bennon Britt and Mildred “Tonie” Britt.

He was an A/C technician. He was an avid sports player, fisherman, and hunter. His passion was giving Bible studies and inviting people to church. He was a long-time member of Pleasant Ridge Pentecostal Church in Brookhaven. Upon moving to Jackson, he attended Apostolic Faith in Byram and then became a member and usher at First Pentecostal Church of Jackson. He married Debbie Wade Britt on March 3, 2001.

Preceding him in death was his father.

Survivors are his mother; his wife, Debbie Wade Britt; his son, Bennon Wade Britt; two sisters, Judy Speights (Wayne), and Susan Birdsong; and two brothers, Don Britt (Marji), and John Britt.
