Funeral services for James Hughey Catt of Jayess are 11 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 31, 2014, at Topeka Baptist Church in Jayess with burial in New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery. Wilson Funeral Home in Monticello is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation is Thursday, Jan. 30, 2014, from 5 until 9 p.m. at Topeka Baptist Church.

Mr. Catt, 67, died Jan. 27, 2014, at his residence. He was born in Marion County.

He was a member of Jayess Masonic Lodge and a member of Tilton Creek Hunting Club.

Preceding him in death were his parents, James Lonnie and Dorothy Beacham Catt; brother, Ray Catt; and sister, Linda Lambert; and half-sister, Dora Dean Simpton.

Survivors are his wife, Linda Cliburn Catt of Jayess; daughter, Stacy De St. Germain and husband, Bobby, of Jayess, and Vickie Smith and husband, Kevin, of Brookhaven; grandchildren, Ray Buchanan, Brandi Stuart, Cory Buchanan, Peyton Smith, Synthia De St. Germain; great grandchild, Madyson Stuart; brothers and sisters, T.D. Catt, Alice Lee, Paul Catt, Mary Case, Amy Wages, Mike Catt, John Catt, and Ruthie Stuart.
