“Glad to get the win,” said Loyd Star coach Gene ‘Moochie’ Britt. “The girls did a good job doing the things needed to win. We still need to do a better job controlling the ball by making better decisions on the court. We also need to improve on the layups, we miss too many easy layups and shots that allowed Enterprise to stay in the game.”
Megan Rippy was the top scorer for the Lady Jackets with 11 points and 5 rebounds. Hannah Kirtfield paced Enterprise off the boards with 9 rebounds.
“My girls played hard,” said Enterprise coach Jill Nations. “We played with a lot of intensity and rebounded the ball a lot better tonight.”
