Carol ‘Mike’ Cannon

Funeral services for Carol “Mike” Cannon of Brookhaven are 11 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 13, at Brookhaven Funeral Home with burial in Cold Springs Church of Christ Cemetery in Bogue Chitto. Brookhaven Funeral Home, 849 Natchez Drive, is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation will be Thursday from 5 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Cannon, 65, died Tuesday, Dec. 10, 2013, at his residence. He was born Jan. 16, 1948, in Brookhaven. He was a retired oilfield worker.

He was preceded in death by his father, James F. Cannon; a twin brother, Harold Cannon; and three infant brothers.

His survivors are his wife, Louise Cannon; his mother, Winnie Hall Cannon; two sons, Dwayne Cannon and Timmy Cannon and wife, Laurie, of Jonesville, La.; daughter, Cindy Cannon; grandchildren, Trent, Kelly and Miranda; nine sisters-in-law; four brothers-in-law, and a host of nieces and nephews.
