Graveside services for Donzie Mae Crain Burnette of Wesson are 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 3, at Rose Memorial Park Cemetery in Hammond, La., is in charge of arrangements. Brookhaven Funeral Home, 849 Natchez Drive, is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation was held Monday from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Burnette, 78, died Saturday, Nov. 30, 2013 at her residence. She was born in Ponchatoula, La., on May 29, 1935. She was a homemaker

She was preceded in death by: her father, Ocie Crain; mother, Cleacie Crain, two sisters, and two brothers.

Survivors are her husband, James Burnette, of Wesson; her daughters: Patricia Burnette, Marksville, La., Terri Spurk of Madison and Pam Whittington, Crystal Springs,; step-daughters, Tommie Hart of Wesson and Donna Davis of Brookhaven; one son, James Donnie Burnette of Nichols, La.; her sisters, Sandra LaCourse and Dian Archer, both of West Monroe, La.; one brother, Tracy Crain of Calhoun, La., and 10 grandchildren.
