Funeral services for Michael Bessonette of Brookhaven are 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 20, at Riverwood Family Funeral Service Chapel with burial in Union Hall Baptist Church Cemetery.

Visitation is Wednesday from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Bessonette, 67, died Nov. 18, 2013, at Southwest Regional Medical Center in McComb. He was born June 20, 1946, to Malcolm and Annie Ruth Bessonette.

He was a member of Union Hall Baptist Church.

Preceding him in death were his parents; daughter, Michelle Bessonette, and first wife, Melvonia Morace Bessonette.

Survivors are his wife, Barbara Bessonette; sons, Mike Bessonette, Mitchell Bessonette, McKinzie Bessonette, John Bridges Jr. and wife Lynn, and Kendall Bridges and wife Connie. Also surviving are his daughters, Maranda Buitt and husband Chris, Judy Jordan and husband Jim, Pam Bridges and Lachelle Harveston and husband Denny; his brothers, James Bessonette and Ricky Bessonette; 17 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
