Funeral services for Barbara Jeanette White, of Ruth are 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 5, at Brookhaven Funeral Home, 894 Natchez Drive with burial in Topisaw Baptist Church Cemetery.

Visitation is Tuesday from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. White, 73, died Sunday, Nov. 3, 2013, at home.

She loved to take care of her yard, cutting the grass, weeding the flower beds, and picking up and shelling pecans. She also enjoyed cooking, canning, and taking care of her cats.

She was preceded in death by her husband David Leroy White; her children, Wendell Gale White and Norman Roy White; her parents, Robert Ray Rutland and Bessie May Thames; her sister, Ruth Hampton; her brothers, Dean Rutland, Darryle Rutland, and Charles Ray Rutland.

Mrs. White is survived by her son, Keith White and wife Tammy of Ruth; her grandchildren Dana White, Dennis White and wife Stacy, Danny White and wife Amanda, Brandy White Givens and husband Billy, Jonathan White and wife Heather, Nicole White Bessonette and husband Thomas, and Jessica White; 14 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and friends and her special friends, Robert Williams and Brenda Keyes.
