Funeral services for Margie M. Lemoine of Bude, are 2 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 5, at Siloam Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery. Riverwood Family Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Lemoine, 78, died Sept. 30, 2013. She was born in Liverpool, England on March 2, 1935 to William and Eliza Bethel McKindley. She was the youngest of ten children.

She was a breast cancer survivor and used her survivor spirit to support Relay for Life with donations of time, money, gifts and remaining strength. You could always count on Margie’s support of the pink ribbon. She was a member of Siloam Baptist Church, where she attended Sunday school and early morning church worship services. Margie did mission work by bringing home-baked goods to residents of Meadville Nursing Home for birthday parties and other celebrations.

Margie was a “Red Hatter” and contributed to all the “Hatter’s” local projects, as well as always having a special surprise for its members at Christmas. She even brought Santa Claus, himself, one year.

Margie will be deeply missed by family and friends. She was a true follower of Christ and an example of how we should have a giving heart for others.

Survivors are her dearly devoted husband of 34 years, Preston Lemoine; son, Frank Wilkinson of Meadville; grandsons, Jamie Wilkinson, and wife Melissa of Meadville, and Erik Wilkinson, and wife Sara, of Bunkley; two great-grandsons of whom she was extremely proud, Grant Wilkinson and Bryce Wilkinson; four step-grandsons, Ethan, Nathaniel, Bregan and Chandler; her last surviving sibling, Francis Yoxall of Norfolk, England; and her two constant canine companions, Gabi and Xena.

In lieu of flowers, Margie’s last request was that donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
