Funeral services for Carolyn “June” Hawk Hammond, of Brookhaven, are 7 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 10, at Riverwood Family Funeral Service, with burial in Gunnings Cemetery in Kingsport, Tenn.

     Visitation is Thursday from 5 until 7 p.m. at the funeral home.

     Mrs. Hammond, 69, died Jan. 8, 2013, at King’s Daughters Medical Center. She was born in Tennessee on Sept. 26, 1943, to Vernon and Blanche Jenkins Hawk.

     She a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.

     Preceding her in death were her parents; brothers, Buddy Hawk and Bobby Hawk; and sisters, Pauline Moody and Gail Christian.

     Survivors are her son, Chris Hammond and wife, Robin, of Brookhaven; daughters, Toni Woods and husband, William, of Childersburg, Ala., and Buffy Ezell and husband, James, of Brookhaven; sisters, Betty Barnett, Charlotte Vicars and Katie Hall; seven grandchildren, Kellie McCollum, Drew Hammond, Tate Hammond, Jessie Woods, Becca Hammond, Zachary Ezell and Ashley Ezell; and three great-grandchildren, Aryanna McCollum, Skye McCollum and Parker Hammond.
