Memorial services for Peggy June Gilbert, of Crystal Springs, are 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 14, at Sardis Baptist Church in Hazlehurst. Community Funeral Services is in charge of arrangements.

     Visitation is Saturday from 1 until 2 p.m. at the church.

     Mrs. Gilbert, 63, died April 9, 2012, at The University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson. She was born in Clanton, Ala., on July 13, 1948, to The Rev. John W. and Pearl Bowlin.

     She attended Forest Hill High School. She was a housewife, mother and grandmother and of the Methodist faith.

     Preceding her in death were her parents.

     Survivors are her husband, Louis D. Gilbert; son, Matthew Gilbert, daughters, Jennifer Gilbert Hilton and Keely Brady Davenport; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; and 9 step-great-grandchildren.

     In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity in her memory.
