Services for Hunter Brooks Rester, of Brookhaven, were 3:30p.m., Wednesday, Aug. 31 at Macedonia Baptist Church with burial inthe church cemetery. Riverwood Family Funeral Service was in chargeof arrangements.

Mr. Rester, 15, died Aug. 27, 2005, from injuries sustained in acar accident on New Sight Road in Lincoln County. He was born inBrookhaven on Feb. 28, 1990, to Daryl D. Rester and Suzanne AllenRester.

He was a sophomore at Brookhaven High School. He played soccer,golf and football. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and sailing. He wasa member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. He was a memberof Macedonia Baptist Church.

Preceding him in death were his grandfather, Austin WellsRester; and his great-grandparents, Walter D. and Elma Allen,Albert and Anna Mae Williams and Cletus Wilson.

Survivors are his mother, Suzanne Allen Rester, of Brookhaven;his father, Daryl D. Rester, of Madison; his brother, William CaseyRester, of Brookhaven; his grandparents, Clinton and Peggy Allen,of Brookhaven, and Harvey and Linda Wilson, of Brookhaven; agreat-great-grandmother, Bernie Wilson, of Bude; his aunts, DebraWilson and Paula “Toni” Gordon; his uncle, Brad Allen and his wife,Felicia.
