Services for George “Top” Humphrey of Springfield, La., are 2p.m., Saturday, May 18, at Galilee A.M.E. Church in Caseyville withburial in the church cemetery.

Mr. Humphrey, 74, died May 13, 2002, at his residence. He wasborn in Lincoln County on Sept. 15, 1927, to Luceal Humphrey andJohn Brown.

He was disabled. He was a member of Galilee Church.

Preceding him in death were his parents; his brothers, Amel,Cleon, Robert, and Jack; his sisters, Harriet Ross, Annie Allen,and Inez Robinson; and his daughter, Linda Humphrey.

Survivors are his sisters, Allie M. Kelly, Annie M. (Joe)McCall, and Mary A. (Lee) Brown, all of Brookhaven; and a host ofgrandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other relatives andfriends.
