A graveside service for Joe Damico Jr., of Trenton, Fla., willbe held at 11 a.m. on Friday, April 13, at St. Francis of AssisiCatholic Cemetery in Brookhaven. Brookhaven Funeral Home is incharge of arrangements.

Mr. Damico, 96, died March 27, 2007, at Ayers HealthRehabilitation Center in Trenton. He was born in Brookhaven on Feb.16, 1911, to Joseph Damico Sr. and Salva Carnaggio Damico.

He was a store owner. He was a United States Army veteran ofWorld War II. He was a member of St. Francis of Assisi CatholicChurch.

Preceding him in death were his parents; his wife, Mazie Damico;and his brother, Charles Damico.

Survivors are his son, Angelo Damico, of Richland; his daughter,Linda Damico, of Gainesville, Fla.; his brothers, Vincent Damico,Johnny Damico, Nick Damico and Sam Damico, all of Brookhaven; andone grandchild.
